Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut
- Previous experience working within a school environment, preferably K-12
- Knowledge of case management and special education processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for different grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students identified in need across multiple schools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with students' IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Manage documentation and keep records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Offer consultation and strategies to school teams to promote students’ functional independence in the educational setting
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
