Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist providing school-based services for PreK-8th grade learners in the New Orleans area. This rewarding, full-time contract opportunity involves working with a vibrant and collaborative team including a Physical Therapist, Adaptive Physical Education professional, and a COTA (on-site one day weekly). Your contributions will help students reach their academic and developmental goals in an encouraging, supportive setting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license required
  • Experience in a school environment preferred
  • Comfortable managing a PreK-8th grade caseload
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and design individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services in line with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other therapists to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Share an office with PT & APE professionals, supporting a team-based care approach
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development activities
