Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite Occupational Therapist located near New Oxford, PA. Work with diverse students across two school campuses, primarily supporting high school and elementary age groups. Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist certification (OT Certificate must be provided upon hire)
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting is strongly preferred
  • Skilled in evaluating and supporting students with a variety of needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for teamwork with educators, students, and families
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage a consistent 35-hour workweek

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assess, document, and track student progress while maintaining accurate records
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions and engaging activities to help students achieve their developmental and educational goals
  • Consult with teachers and other staff to share strategies for student development and access to the curriculum
  • Work across both high school and elementary campuses as assigned
  • Communicate regularly with families, sharing progress and recommendations

Position Details:

  • Contract term beginning as soon as possible through May 28, 2027
  • 35 hours per week; anticipated schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Support offered by experienced school staff and special education professionals
