This opportunity is for a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a middle school setting in New York, NY. The role focuses on delivering 1:1 therapy services tailored to meet the individual needs of a student while performing regular occupational therapy duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to a designated student on a 1:1 basis.
  • Collaborate with school staff to implement therapy plans that support student development.
  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, documenting outcomes effectively.
  • Participate in meetings with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain compliance with school policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in a school setting.
  • Skilled in providing therapy services to middle school-aged students.
  • Ability to manage 1:1 therapy caseload with personalized intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within an educational environment.
  • Familiarity with school-based occupational therapy protocols and documentation.
