You’ll work Tuesday through Thursday, with hours that may vary by location, offering a flexible approach to your weekly schedule. As the sole Occupational Therapist, you’ll manage a caseload that includes older high school students as well as young adults transitioning out of the school system.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license
  • Experience in school-based OT, including high school settings, is highly valued
  • Familiarity with home health and general healthcare OT practices a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to diverse student needs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to high school and 18-22-year-old students in accordance with IEP plans and program goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress
  • Collaborate with special education staff, families, and transitional services teams
  • Support students in skill-building activities for greater independence in school and community environments
  • Document services and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
