We are seeking a dedicated professional for a contract role servicing high school students and young adults ages 18-22. This in-person opportunity is set within a supportive school-based setting near Newark, DE, focusing on helping students build greater independence and life skills.

This assignment runs from July 6, 2026, through August 6, 2026, with an initial orientation and setup day on July 6. Your schedule will center around in-person services Tuesday through Thursday, with hours varying by site, offering some flexibility to your workweek.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure or eligibility to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Prior OT experience in schools or educational settings strongly preferred
  • Background in home health, healthcare, or direct student interventions a plus
  • Experience or interest in working with high school-aged youth and young adults (18-22)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • A commitment to supporting diverse learners in achieving IEP/transition goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small group OT services tailored to high school and transition-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress within academic and life skill domains
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines
  • Contribute to team meetings, IEP planning, and adaptive strategies for student success
