Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state OT license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Minimum of one year in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings (home health or healthcare experience a plus)
  • Strong communication skills with educators, families, and related services staff
  • Familiarity with IEP development, goal writing, and data collection
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and adapting interventions for virtual service delivery
  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to changing school or student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students with diverse abilities
  • Provide occupational therapy via in-person, home health, and/or teletherapy formats as required
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to set and achieve student goals
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer ongoing education and training for staff and families regarding equipment, strategies, and accommodations
  • Support smooth transitions for students moving between educational, healthcare, or home settings
