This full-time, contract position near Newark, DE, offers the chance to provide essential therapeutic support in both school and home health environments, helping children reach their fullest potential.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver effective interventions. By fostering independence and functional skills, you’ll empower students to participate fully in their educational journey.

Ideal candidates possess:

  • An active Occupational Therapy license in Delaware (OT DE license required)
  • Previous experience in school-based, home health, or pediatric occupational therapy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • A genuine passion for supporting student growth and development

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ abilities and create tailored intervention strategies
  • Deliver direct therapy within school and, as needed, home environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate on student goals
  • Educate staff, students, and families on therapy techniques and supports
  • Adapt interventions to a variety of educational and home health settings
