Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Delaware OT license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued, though all backgrounds will be considered
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans
- Committed to fostering student independence and classroom participation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create personalized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings to share insights and recommendations
- Adapt strategies to best serve each student, ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities
