Qualifications:

  • Active, valid Occupational Therapist license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in school, home health, or pediatric healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, progress reporting, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Adaptable approach, comfortable working with diverse student needs
  • Ready to commit full-time for the 26/27 school year

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized therapy plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in school and home settings as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student progress toward functional, academic, and developmental goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide training or resources for educational staff
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
