A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support children’s development in a vibrant, educational setting. This full-time contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours weekly. The therapist selected will initially split their schedule between an elementary school—providing coverage for a maternity leave—and the Early Learning Center, conducting evaluations and delivering direct services. After the leave period ends, the focus will shift to a full-time presence at the Early Learning Center.
Your background in school-based therapy, coupled with expertise in both evaluation and intervention, positions you to make a meaningful difference to both early learners and elementary-aged students. The district is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist only (COTAs are not eligible for this position). All work for this assignment will be onsite only.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license, with ability to practice in the state
- Demonstrated experience in school-based settings preferred
- Proven skill in delivering direct OT services and conducting comprehensive evaluations
- Comfortable supporting elementary and early childhood student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, in-person occupational therapy services to students
- Conduct detailed assessments to identify students’ individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Transition smoothly between elementary and early learning environments as directed by assignment phase
As you provide essential OT services in supportive school communities, you will play a key role in promoting students’ participation, independence, and success.
If you hold a current OT license and are passionate about working with school-aged and early childhood populations, take the next step in your career. Submit your updated resume, proof of active licensure, and relevant documentation to be considered for this important role!
