Three full-time roles are available, supporting diverse student populations across various school sites. You’ll collaborate with dedicated teams and help students thrive academically and functionally during the 2026-2027 school year.
Assignments include positions split between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary, at Mount Pleasant Elementary, or with a combined Middle and High School caseload. Each role is onsite, offering a dynamic, supportive environment perfect for professionals passionate about pediatric and school-based OT.
Required Qualifications:
- Hold a current Delaware Occupational Therapist license (please provide a copy upon application)
- Experience delivering OT services in school settings strongly preferred
- Commitment to working onsite across specified school sites (no remote/hybrid options)
- Capable of managing varied caseloads with students requiring both direct and consultative support
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for engaging with teachers, staff, and families
- Must be able to cover the cost of $85 CBC fingerprinting (must confirm agreement before applying)
- COTA not eligible due to limited supervisory staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT assessments and interventions to support IEP goals
- Adapt learning materials and environments for students’ unique motor and sensory needs
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all special education regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Coach and collaborate with educators and caregivers to generalize OT strategies throughout the school day
