School Occupational Therapist - Newark, Delaware

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current OTR licensure preferred; consideration for experienced COTAs
• Prior experience in schools, home health, or healthcare settings a plus
• Strong background in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation
• Ability to adapt approaches for preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services aligned with IEP goals
• Work collaboratively with Special Education teams, teachers, and families
• Monitor and document student progress rigorously
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes student growth
