Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain)
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and goal writing
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for students with diverse abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student participation and success
- Support students’ needs in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory regulation, self-care, and classroom participation
- Maintain timely documentation, progress reports, and attend IEP meetings as required
- Provide consultative and direct services, both individually and in group settings
- Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations to facilitate inclusion
