What We're Looking For:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapy license
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary students
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students and create tailored plans to support fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Document progress, maintain comprehensive records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate school personnel on supporting students’ occupational therapy needs
  • Monitor and adjust interventions to maximize student participation and success
