What We're Looking For:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary students
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students and create tailored plans to support fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions
- Document progress, maintain comprehensive records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate school personnel on supporting students’ occupational therapy needs
- Monitor and adjust interventions to maximize student participation and success
