Make an immediate impact in a school-based contract position as an Occupational Therapist, working with an elementary-aged caseload. This engaging opportunity near Newburyport, MA, allows you to support young learners’ development 3-4 days per week, collaborating with school staff and families to deliver meaningful, individualized interventions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
  • Prior experience in a school setting and/or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OT practices for school-aged children
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct Occupational Therapy services to elementary school students, both in individual and group settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address student IEP goals
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student success and participation
  • Conduct assessments and provide input for multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and in-service trainings as needed
