Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license (OT) required
  • Previous experience or training in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong background in both fine and gross motor skill development
  • Understanding or experience with COTA collaboration in educational settings a plus
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with their IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations and design intervention plans that foster student growth in fine and gross motor skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff to integrate therapy strategies in daily classroom activities
  • Supervise and provide input for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) as needed
  • Track progress, maintain thorough and timely records, and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Adjust interventions and techniques based on ongoing assessment and student progress
