Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license valid in Virginia
- Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation
- Graduate of an accredited OT program
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and support to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting educational success
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Partner with educators and families to generalize skills in classroom and home environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
