Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience delivering OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
• Familiarity with IEPs, goal setting, and documentation processes
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Dedication to fostering student independence, participation, and success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions within school settings, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to ensure coordinated care and consistent progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating supportive, inclusive educational plans
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely communication with all stakeholders
• Promote skill development in areas such as fine and gross motor function, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior
