What we’re seeking:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for California
- Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices, including IEP development and data collection
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs and grade levels
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for OT services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and collaborate on student goals
- Provide consultative support to teachers and parents regarding classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment
- Deliver both direct and indirect therapy as determined by student needs
