We’re seeking a dedicated OT to support K-12 students for a full-time contract assignment from early October through the end of the year. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license required; COTA experience in schools is a plus
  • Proven experience with fine and gross motor skills development in pediatric or school settings
  • Previous work in K-12 schools preferred, but motivated therapists with equivalent pediatric backgrounds are welcome
  • Skilled in providing individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse student needs
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing barriers to academic success and daily school life
  • Assess students’ motor skills and functional abilities, developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
  • Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
  • Support students in achieving greater independence in self-care, classroom tasks, and social participation
