Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and functional skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop appropriate therapy plans
  • Deliver individual and small group OT sessions within the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for each student
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and monitor progress toward goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and caregivers regarding classroom modifications and strategies
