School Occupational Therapist | Normal, Illinois

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Illinois)
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
• Knowledge of IEPs, documentation, and progress reporting processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students based on IEPs
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies into classroom routines
• Adapt activities and provide recommendations to support student engagement and success in the educational setting
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students
