Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Illinois)
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Knowledge of IEPs, documentation, and progress reporting processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students based on IEPs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies into classroom routines
- Adapt activities and provide recommendations to support student engagement and success in the educational setting
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all students
