Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in school-based OT settings
- Background in OT services for home health, teletherapy, or general healthcare environments
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and relevant state credentials
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child and modify interventions accordingly
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, direct services, and consultations to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success in and out of the classroom
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing educational goals
