Occupational Therapist School Setting - Norristown, PA

This full-time occupational therapy position focuses on leave coverage, beginning as soon as possible and extending through January 4, 2027. Designed for those seeking a dynamic environment, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM.

This role will immerse you in a collaborative school community, working directly with students and educators to elevate accessibility and learning outcomes. As a valued member of the team, your expertise will help shape positive student experiences through comprehensive interventions and support.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Pennsylvania
• Experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and treatment skills
• Familiarity with IDEA, 504 plans, and school documentation practices
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening of students to identify needs and determine eligibility for services
• Write initial 504 plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Complete evaluations and re-evaluations as required
• Deliver targeted treatment sessions and interventions for students on your caseload
• Manage some make up sessions for students who miss regular OT appointments
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student success and functional independence in school settings
