Take on a meaningful contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services in an educational setting, supporting staff and students during an OT maternity leave coverage. This position runs from October 26th, 2026, to March 29th, 2027, and offers the flexibility of working virtually for qualified candidates. You'll play a vital role in enhancing student success and ensuring consistent therapy services are delivered during this period.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to meet student needs. An important aspect of your responsibilities includes offering supervision to a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to provide supervision to a COTA
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable delivering services virtually, if remote
  • Commitment to the full duration of the assignment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations and direct/indirect services under IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions, strategies, and goals
  • Supervise and support a COTA to ensure high-quality therapy delivery
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and staff
  • Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports
  • Engage families and caregivers to support student carryover of strategies
