Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade this summer. The assignment is designed for an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference in a school environment. You'll be working near North Dartmouth, MA, with a flexible schedule: two days per week between Monday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The assignment runs from July 6th to August 6th.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with students across various grade levels (K–12)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth in a supportive, inclusive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 26 students, all scheduled for 1x30 minute sessions (students may be grouped as appropriate)
  • Follow prepared therapy materials developed by school-based OTs, ensuring a seamless ESY transition
  • Engage with students to enhance their skills necessary for academic success and daily living
  • Effectively manage and document session outcomes, collaborating as needed with other staff
  • Maintain 30 minutes of dedicated preparation time each day (15 minutes prior to first session, 15 minutes at end of day) to review materials and plan interventions
