Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)
- Certification as an OT
- Experience working with school-aged children (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
- Effective organizational and time management skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy within school settings
- Support students facing a variety of physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges that impact learning
- Engage in IEP meetings and provide input on goal development and progress
- Work in partnership with special education teams, teachers, and caregivers to integrate therapeutic strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions as needed
- Provide education and training to school staff and families on integrating strategies into daily routines
