Certified Middle School School Occupational Therapist - North Little Rock, Arkansas

This full-time contract opportunity involves working closely with elementary, middle, and high school students to assess needs, develop therapy plans, and implement interventions that foster academic and life skills success. As a valued OT in this role, you’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure each student’s growth and independence.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)
• Certification as an OT
• Experience working with school-aged children (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
• Effective organizational and time management skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy within school settings
• Support students facing a variety of physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges that impact learning
• Engage in IEP meetings and provide input on goal development and progress
• Work in partnership with special education teams, teachers, and caregivers to integrate therapeutic strategies
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions as needed
• Provide education and training to school staff and families on integrating strategies into daily routines
