Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Strong background in school-based OT services
• Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering interventions tailored to pediatric populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Adaptable and resourceful, with a passion for supporting children’s academic and developmental growth

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment to students as outlined in their IEPs or 504 plans
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and ongoing case notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
• Educate families and school personnel on strategies to support student success
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques—both direct and consultative—to meet diverse student needs
