This full-time contract opportunity is based near Norwalk, CT, and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year. You'll provide expert OT interventions in a school-based setting, collaborating with educators and families to enhance student engagement and functional independence.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and active OT licensure in Connecticut (or eligibility)
  • Experience or strong interest in working in elementary school settings
  • Comfort providing therapeutic interventions individually and in small groups
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in the elementary caseload
  • Deliver engaging OT sessions focused on fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT recommendations into students’ daily routines
  • Maintain clear documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and school staff meetings
