This onsite position provides services to a small community of approximately 70 students, ensuring focused and personalized care. With a caseload of just 8-9 students, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact and build lasting connections. Start as soon as possible and work through the end of the school year, with confirmed Extended School Year (ESY) hours and potential for contract renewal.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active OTR/L license required
- Previous experience in schools, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation standards
- Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with assistive technology, sensory integration, or students with diverse needs is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for a caseload of 8-9 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Support student access to learning through fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation strategies
- Adapt therapy activities to meet the unique needs of a small and supportive private school setting
