Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of fine and gross motor skills development
  • Familiarity with goal setting, IEPs, and collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management abilities
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to supporting children with diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to individualized plans
  • Assess, develop, and implement treatment strategies for improving fine and gross motor skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create supportive classroom modifications
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning and progress monitoring
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
