Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities within the educational setting
- Develop targeted intervention programs to support students’ participation in classroom and school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely records for therapy sessions, student progress, and required documentation
- Contribute actively to ESY planning and multidisciplinary team meetings
