Make an immediate impact in a school-based contract opportunity supporting elementary students 2 days per week. This role is ideal for a dedicated occupational therapist driven to help young learners build the skills they need for classroom success and daily living.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license to practice in California
  • Knowledge and experience in school-based occupational therapy evaluation and treatment
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to document services thoroughly
  • Collaborative mindset to partner with special education professionals, teachers, and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as defined in IEPs, focusing on developmental and educational goals
  • Evaluate students’ needs and write reports to inform eligibility, programming, and progress
  • Develop treatment plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills
  • Consult with classroom teachers to modify the environment and support inclusion
  • Attend IEP meetings and communicate student progress with families and team members
  • Manage caseload effectively to ensure compliance and timely services
