A typical caseload ranges from 35 to 45 elementary-aged students, offering ample opportunities to make a genuine difference in a vibrant educational community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Commitment to supporting elementary learners with diverse needs
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of 35-45 students
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills for effective partnerships with educational teams and families
  • Ability to travel between two school locations as assigned
  • Experience working on a school calendar and within interdisciplinary teams
  • No virtual/remote (VOCO) work; on-site services only

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group OT services according to students’ IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
  • Support students’ fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and adaptive skills
  • Provide consultative support to staff to promote student inclusion and participation
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with school district and legal guidelines
