From August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, you'll have the rewarding responsibility of working in person with students ages 3 through 21. What you'll bring:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Experience working as an OT in school settings preferred
- Skill in providing therapy tailored to a wide age range, including children and young adults aged 3-21
- Ability to develop evidence-based intervention plans that support student success
- Flexibility and adaptability—ready to address varying needs across different programs
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with educators, administrators, and families
- Commitment to professional growth and continued learning
What you'll do:
- Deliver in-person, school-based occupational therapy services 35 hours per week
- Assess students and implement individualized OT programs that build crucial skills and foster independence
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusion and educational achievement
- Create documentation that accurately tracks student progress and therapy outcomes
- Engage in exceptional professional development opportunities provided by the co-op
