Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups
  • Consult with educators and families to support students’ educational goals
  • Monitor progress, maintain records, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
  • Promote functional independence and adaptive skills
