School Occupational Therapist - Oakland, California

Step into a rewarding role supporting students across two school sites serving preschool through 8th grade. This contract opportunity offers an immediate start with an assignment running through the end of May. You will be responsible for an approximate caseload of 35, playing a key role in fostering student growth and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California
• Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
• Knowledge of developmental milestones and diverse learning needs for preschool through 8th grade
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Flexibility to work in multiple school locations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a varied caseload of approximately 35 students, ages preschool to 8th grade
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Conduct assessments and participate in developing IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with teachers and caregivers to support student success in the classroom environment
• Travel between two school locations within the assignment area
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear progress updates as required
