Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Organizational proficiency for documentation and scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and establish appropriate interventions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational and developmental goals
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations
• Deliver direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain required records and timely documentation in line with school and regulatory standards
• Adapt and modify classroom materials and environments to promote student participation
• Provide training and resources for school personnel as needed
