Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Prior experience in school settings highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to serve students with varying needs and abilities
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group occupational therapy sessions for K-12 students
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams, families, and school support staff
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation
- Provide guidance to teachers and staff regarding best practices for student support
- Monitor and report on progress toward therapeutic goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
