Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
  • Prior experience in school settings highly valued
  • Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to serve students with varying needs and abilities
  • Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group occupational therapy sessions for K-12 students
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams, families, and school support staff
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation
  • Provide guidance to teachers and staff regarding best practices for student support
  • Monitor and report on progress toward therapeutic goals
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
