Step into a dynamic educational environment as a full-time Occupational Therapist, where you'll play an essential role in supporting K-12 students on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
  • Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Skilled in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads across multiple grade levels (K-12)
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children of all abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments to determine student support needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services within classroom, small group, and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies throughout the school day
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Educate families and school staff on strategies to maximize student engagement and functional skills
