Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Recent experience supporting children in school-based settings
- Strong understanding of diverse student needs, including sensory, motor, and adaptive challenges
- Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Experience managing a caseload in an itinerant role is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students across multiple campuses
- Administer assessments and interpret results to inform intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Educate staff and families on OT strategies for use in classrooms and at home
- Travel between assigned school sites as part of a cohesive therapy team
