An exciting contract opportunity awaits for a school-based Occupational Therapist to support pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students. Starting the week of August 17, 2026 and continuing through the week of May 28, 2027, this position offers approximately 19.5 hours per week, spread across three days. You’ll have the chance to work closely with a diverse group of around 19 students, making a real impact on their development and success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Strong experience working in school settings, particularly with PreK–8th grade students
- Familiarity with IEPs and school-based OT documentation
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and school teams
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- A passion for supporting students’ independence and functional skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultations within a school environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ classroom participation
- Communicate progress to families and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear and timely documentation per school and district requirements
- Travel to and provide services at the designated school location
