Embark on an impactful contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year, supporting students across dynamic charter schools in the Peninsula and San Lorenzo areas. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with an engaged educational community within a group of five schools, providing valuable services that help students reach their fullest potential.

Your expertise will be integral in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized OT interventions for K-12 students. By fostering independence and promoting functional skills, you will play a key role in contributing to positive academic and developmental outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
  • Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to serve multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ unique OT needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
  • Provide direct OT services individually and in group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to optimize student progress
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation for services, assessments, and IEP participation
  • Travel across five designated schools in the Peninsula (Redwood City/East Palo Alto) and San Lorenzo areas
