Step into an engaging part-time contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, making a real difference within two supportive school districts during the 2026-2027 academic year. This unique position will have you splitting your expertise between two nearby districts, providing comprehensive OT support to students in diverse educational settings.
Your schedule offers excellent work-life balance—working four days per week from August 17th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027. Exact caseload details will be shared soon, so you'll have the chance to tailor your approach to the needs of the districts. Collaborate with dedicated educators and families to ensure that every student receives high-quality occupational therapy services designed to help them thrive.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience delivering occupational therapy in school settings is strongly preferred
- Passion for working with pediatric populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel between two district locations as scheduled
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and support staff
- Develop customized treatment plans to support students’ academic and functional success
- Communicate progress regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Document all sessions and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
