Bring your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist to a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a supportive educational environment near Oakland, CA. This role offers flexibility: complete 25 days of services in a way that fits your schedule, through either five consecutive full-time weeks or two days per week through the end of the school year.

You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services attuned to each child's needs. This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $55 to $65.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience with school-aged students preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and related documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff for holistic student care
  • Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and regulatory policies
