Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist license
  • Completed Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized interventions
  • Current knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Responsibilities in this Position:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students aged kindergarten through high school
  • Evaluate students’ functional abilities, develop treatment goals, and plan interventions
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide support and recommendations to classroom staff for accommodations and adaptive equipment
  • Contribute to a positive school environment by promoting student independence and participation
  • Adapt interventions to diverse student needs and evolving school priorities
