Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active California OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and support IEP goals
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess students’ abilities and needs, utilizing standardized tools and observation
- Develop individualized intervention plans targeting fine motor, sensory integration, and functional life skills
- Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to facilitate student success
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatment, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute evidence-based recommendations
- Promote advocacy, accessibility, and inclusion within the school setting
