Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active California OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and support IEP goals
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Assess students’ abilities and needs, utilizing standardized tools and observation
  • Develop individualized intervention plans targeting fine motor, sensory integration, and functional life skills
  • Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to facilitate student success
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatment, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute evidence-based recommendations
  • Promote advocacy, accessibility, and inclusion within the school setting
