Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of California
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy interventions for children and adolescents
- Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance with special education regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs within the educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives
