Step into an impactful contract opportunity, using your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to support early intervention across Douglas County. You'll play a pivotal role by providing services that reach children in their homes, fostering growth and progress from an early age. This assignment offers variety and meaningful engagement, primarily serving families in the Roseburg area, with outreach to surrounding communities.

Your commitment is needed from now through June 11, 2027, working 40 hours each week. You'll collaborate with supportive staff and caregivers, helping to bridge development gaps and ensure positive outcomes for young learners.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based or early intervention settings
  • Ability to excel in a home-based, community-focused model of care
  • Solid communication skills for collaboration with families, teachers, and other professionals
  • Proven ability to organize a caseload and manage documentation requirements efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct Occupational Therapy services to children, primarily via home visits
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP/IFSP development
  • Assess student needs, plan interventions, and track progress toward individualized goals
  • Educate and coach caregivers and family members to reinforce targeted strategies
  • Flexibly travel within the service area as needed to reach clients
