Key Qualifications/Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Maryland
- Previous experience providing therapy in school-based settings
- Strong familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals
- Effective communication skills to work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and flexibly adapt therapy plans
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach, passionate about supporting the growth of students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students requiring OT services
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
- Implement direct therapy in classroom and one-on-one settings
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document all sessions according to district guidelines
- Consult with educators and families to ensure strategies are supported across school and home environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP planning and reviews
