Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Previous school-based experience required
- Experience supporting high school students preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Able to manage a diverse caseload of students with mild to moderate support needs
- Comfortable traveling to and working at two nearby locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input on student goals and progress
- Conduct assessments and adapt interventions to meet individual learning goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and engagement
- Maintain accurate records, service notes, and compliance documentation
This is a 35-hour per week position with a consistent schedule that lets you build relationships with students and colleagues throughout the school year. The role provides a supportive, engaging environment where your clinical skills and creativity are valued.
