Licensed Certified School Occupational Therapist | Oceanside, California

Make a positive impact in the lives of young learners by serving as a certified Occupational Therapist supporting elementary students. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced OT passionate about helping children thrive in a school setting. You’ll work collaboratively with a dedicated team, including a full-time COTA, and play a vital role in supporting students across multiple elementary schools.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license (state credentials required)
• Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 80 students
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Comfortable working onsite at various school locations

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster holistic support
• Track student progress, maintain accurate reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services across multiple elementary schools
• Offer guidance and supervision to the COTA assigned for support

This position begins as soon as possible and is expected to extend through the end of the school year. The onsite-only nature of the role will allow you to build meaningful relationships with students and staff alike as you positively influence student success.
