Licensed Certified School Occupational Therapist | Oceanside, California

You’ll enjoy the support of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and manageable caseload of roughly 80 students. With an ASAP start date and placement likely extending through the end of the school year, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships and see measurable progress in the students you serve.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services for elementary school students with diverse needs
• Assess student abilities; develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and interventions
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure cohesive approaches to student support
• Supervise and partner with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
