Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Demonstrated experience working in a school-based occupational therapy setting
- In-depth understanding of pediatric development, sensory integration, and school documentation requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for young children
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments for preschool students and design individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to maximize student participation and success in the classroom
- Document services, progress, and assessments in accordance with school regulations and timelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team planning
- Support efforts to create accessible, developmentally appropriate classroom environments
