Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school-based occupational therapy setting
  • In-depth understanding of pediatric development, sensory integration, and school documentation requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for young children

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments for preschool students and design individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators and caregivers to maximize student participation and success in the classroom
  • Document services, progress, and assessments in accordance with school regulations and timelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team planning
  • Support efforts to create accessible, developmentally appropriate classroom environments
